Call me back, baby...

So yesterday when I got home from work, there was a message waiting for me on my voicemail. As a precursor to this story, I should mention that my area code is 310. So my voicemail starts by reading the caller's number to me, and it's from area code 404 which I've never heard of. So I'm already assuming it's a call I'm uninterested in, a telemarketer or some such crap (for the record, I've now learned that 404 is the area code for Northern Georgia, including Atlanta and its suburbs). So the message starts and all I hear is, in a nice Georgia accent, "does that say 3-1-0 or 3-1-6?....click." Since I didn't get a call back, I'm guessing it said 316 (which is Wichita, Kansas).
